Pockets of Light offers support to those who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth.
We are here for you.
"My husband and I were so fortunate to be referred to Pockets of Light by our therapist. Erin and Tom provided such a safe and comforting environment that was and still is invaluable to us. They not only helped us navigate through our present life, but also what to expect in the future. We can't thank them enough for creating a support group that meets on a weekly basis with a focus on a different topic each time. Adam and I continue to be better equipped for this life of loss solely because of Erin, Tom, and Pockets of Light."
"The Pockets of Light support group was amazing. It was a great support hearing from other people as well as being able to be heard. It was comforting to know I was not alone in my grief.”

ABOUT US
MISSION
To build a community that provides consistent peer support, compassion and hope to those who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy or infant.
HISTORY
In 2016, co-founders Erin Truxillo, Jennifer Brown, and Denise Cante formed
Pockets of Light after recognizing that the area lacked consistent peer support after a perinatal loss. In just 8 years, POL went from supporting less than 20 people in that first year to over 550 people. Today POL holds several types of support groups, events and panels throughout the year. We also offer free perinatal loss training to local hospitals and graduate programs with a focus in healthcare.
